All about studying
About the dual study programme
Yes, our job advertisements in our job portal are only removed once they have been filled.
You should have a high degree of initiative and organisational skills. Further qualifications can be found in the job advert.
In addition to academic performance, our selection process also takes all other aspects into account, such as (part-time) jobs, hobbies, social commitment and overall impression.
The dual study programme lasts a total of four years. After three years, however, you will complete your training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d). This is followed by two semesters of study.
You will start your apprenticeship at dalli in August. In the first six months, you will spend three days a week in the company and two days at vocational school. The following March, you will start your first semester at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. You will then attend lectures from Monday to Thursday for the first four semesters and attend vocational school on Fridays. During the lecture-free periods, i.e. in summer from around the middle/end of July to around the end of September and in winter from around the middle of February to the end of March, you will be trained in practice at dalli. You will also take your holidays during the lecture-free periods. The fifth semester is a practical semester for you, in which you carry out the practical project for your final examination as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. This is followed by two more semesters, including your Bachelor’s thesis, at our company. Now that you no longer have vocational school, you will go to work instead, depending on the agreement.
We train according to the principle of covering our own needs and with the aim of hiring.

After carefully checking your documents, we will contact you promptly by e-mail. If we feel that you might be a good fit for us, we will invite you to a recruitment test, interview and/or assessment centre. If you have impressed us during the recruitment process, you will receive an acceptance letter from us by telephone in advance. The recruitment process may vary depending on the profession.
You have already overcome the first hurdle because we found your application documents appealing. Now it’s about being able to better assess your skills and abilities. Think about why you are applying for the job and otherwise – stay authentic!

Your training pay is based on the applicable collective agreement. After the three years of training, you will be paid as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) in accordance with the applicable collective agreement on a pro rata basis depending on the number of hours you work.
At the start of your apprenticeship, you will take part in an induction week. During this week, you will learn important basics, find your way around the company premises and get to know the other trainees. During this week, there will also be a two-day familiarisation trip to help you get to know each other better. For better support, you will be assigned a mentor from the second year of your apprenticeship at the beginning, who will also take part in the trip. You will also take part in various further training opportunities throughout the duration of the programme.
